Chelsea crowned Champions of Europe with 1-0 victory over Manchester City
Thomas Tuchel's side secure their second Champions League title thanks to Kai Havertz's first-half goal
Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the final as Chelsea held on to claim their second Champions League title.
Chelsea have been crowned Champions of Europe for the second time after defeating Manchester City 1-0 in the Champions League final in Porto.
Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the game in the first half, rounding Ederson and slotting home to give Chelsea the lead.
Manchester City dominated possession for much of the match, but Chelsea defended resolutely and held on to their lead to secure the victory.
The win marks Chelsea's second Champions League title, after their victory in 2012.
It is also the first time that an English club has won the Champions League since Chelsea's victory in 2012.
Thomas Tuchel has now won the Champions League with two different clubs, having previously won the competition with Bayern Munich in 2020.
Chelsea will now represent Europe in the FIFA Club World Cup later this year.
